This was working for me last year but unfortunately it didn't work today. Not sure what changed. Thankfully after hitting escape on the cutscene many times, it eventually stopped looping.
I remember this bug in the xbox version, found this mod when searching for a fix with a looping bug in Leliana's Song. Would this fix that too?
Edit: Not sure if this mod fixed it, I just picked the right dialogue option or the third time was the just lucky. Always play Leliana's song before Origins, but looking forward to the final scene in Awakening not looping
A mod for DA:O Awakenings will do absolutely NOTHING to DA2. Which shouldn't surprise anyone really, should it? DA2 only use world changes and history for characters in it, it doesn't aqctuallly take any game data from DA:O.
I just killed the Mother on Insanity(on my first try, "hardest fight in the game" my ass...), and I encountered this glitch, quick search led me here, now going to try her again, just going to runscript killallhostiles her, I already beat her legit, I just want to get this over with.
It's been a really long time since I played DAA but I had this mod in reserve for when I finally got around to it. I was so happy to see that it worked, as the continual looping was distressing. Thanks a bunch.
This worked perfectly for me. Last time I went through the endgame I had to go through the scenes three times! But this mod fixed all that, just as it was meant to. Thank you for saving me from continual confusion and frustration!
I'm not at the end of Awakenings yet, but the possibility of encountering this bug has been worrying, so I'm installing as a precaution. Thanks for making this!
