Is this only for DAO or can it be used for DA2 as well?

I'm new to Dragon Age Origins, playing for the first time,. I want to add some mods, but I'm having a terrible time trying to get them to run.
Vortex didn't work, so I'm trying DAOmodder.    It runs fine, it allows me to install a mod (No Helmet), but when I run the game the mod isn't working.
Now at no point does DAOmodder ask for the location of my game, which seems strange, nor will it let me manually specify this. I've tried adding a few others as well, same deal - its as if they weren't installed, even though it says they are.

This is D:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Dragon Age Origins

I've tried copying DAmodder into that folder and running it from there.    I've gone through many pages of posts, and it looks like others (tuffnutz below) has had the same issue with file locations.   What am I doing wrong? I just want to play the game.......

There is no "Configure" tab displayed like on the screenshots

it shouldnt matter where you place DAmodder since all mod files go into your Documents folder

Hey I'm just starting DA:O too

I used the games installer DAUpdater for No Helmet. I find myself here to use this installer for extra dog mod, as DAModder seems the only way to install that one.

So i got this to work and got my mods on it and everything seems fine but i dont see an option to run Dragon age and i cant find an answer anywhere. I just need to know if i am missing something or if i need to move this to a certain file location. i only got Languages, Help, Uninstall/install, and backup/restore tabs.

Hey, I'm having a very weird issue. So I want to remove some mods from my game since they're causing some issues. In particular Improved Atmosphere, but when I go into the modder, I can't seem to find it. The mod is still in effect, I've started several games since I presumably uninstalled, but it's still there.
Is there a fix to this issue or a way to flush all my mods at once? I'm using the Steam version of DA:O if that helps.
Thanks to anyone who can help.

I had to go from steam to origin but I can't seem to change the pathing on this manager. I see the configure button in the screenshots but that's not there for me, only the "Install/Uninstall" and "Backup/Restore" tabs are there. How are you supposed to change pathing in this?
