Okay, so I tried changing my character's hair using the tutorial, but when I tried to load the new save it immediately went back to the main menu and gave me the error "Unable to open file. Your file may have been corrupted." I set the original save file as the Destination, changed the hair model from hf_har_mora_0 to hf_har_DAI_Morrigan and hit Set, then hit Save Destination File and it said it was successful.

I'm still having trouble figuring out how to extract the .mor of my character from the save file, maybe that's where I'm going wrong? I did originally follow the instructions for transferring the whole face, but I *only* selected the Hair Model to transfer to the Destination and unselected everything else.

ETA: Got it to work!! I made a save in Camp per setiweb's advice here, and the save loaded with the new face without a hitch! Yay! <3

Has anyone been able to get this to work with DA2 on Windows 10? I am using version 1.2 of the Face Replacer as instructed, but I've tried several versions of Python and none have worked yet. Every time I try to set a destination it freezes.

Edit: Nevermind, I found this instead: http://social.bioware.com/904837/blog/208835/

    Very nice tutorial.

Better than my quick and a little technical explanations...

The tutorial mentions that you can extract the .mor file from a .das file, but it is not part of the included example. :S That's really all I want to do, is take my current character's head and open it up in the toolset so I can view it without ambient lighting. Is there a resource that can explain this to me?

I was having a hard time doing this too. What you need to do is set the source as a save file and set the destination as a new face and name it whatever you want. I kept a similar format just in case it matters. I put ef_sereda.mor for elf female. Once you do that the source should turn from green to blue. Then you just put save in destination. I hope this can help I spent along time trying to just figure this out lol. But if you still need help I will send screenshots of how to do it.

I still don't understand it after I read it. I see the pictures, and I can't make anything pop up in the left window. Can anyone help out? I wanna learn how to transfer faces from one save to another, and also how to access/export faces from NPCs and such.
