Hi!!!! I want to know if I can post it on a Russian website Modgames.ru translated by me, your mod. I guarantee the authorship and the link to the mod page. A lot of people in Russia want to play your mod, but you know, they need a Russified version of your mod!!!!
Shacary: you're supposed to hate him. So I'm glad that was effective
ch_mn: in order to avoid spoilers here, I have answered your specific questions over in the discussion forum. I don't know where you're posting from, so if you can't get there for some reason, please let me know.
Just click on the "discussion" tab and you're there.
The link doesn't work anymore. I still have no idea what to do with the War Dog that I let out of the cage even though I did figure out what you get out of the quest.
Simple and clean. The castle is easily laid out with fairly accessible rooms and map-entering exits posted at extreme ends to ensure no back tracking is required to leave. I loved, absolutely LOVED the french voice in the wine cellar. Biggest highlight of my run through and I hope this man voices additional characters in other mods that I have yet to play through. Small confusion bits include the man asking for the silverware: no idea where I can find those, or why you can click on the picture hooks or empty floor sometimes. Perhaps the mod asks for return visits as inquired in the description, so I'll see to that.
All in all very worth while to download. Gives my characters a sense of having a home.
Voice acting varies in recording quality, one of which is barely passable, all others decent, and one is really well done, rivaling the quality of the game itself. All voices vary from well performed to professional quality. Writing is great. Screaming cook is over the top though, even for DA. Castle is really well made, and even impressed me with its unusual ability to be customized (albeit not Skyrim mod level of in game customization, but far more than I'd previously seen). I have no idea how I'm going to make all of the money required for the side quests it comes with, as in DA I find myself constantly broke, but I assume the answer to that is "download more side quests".
Do I recommend this? Yes. Give it a try. Don't go there until after Lothering is destroyed if you highly value immersion. Also, save prior to talking to anyone. Things you do will affect the residents in permanent ways.
Suggestions for the mod: If there's a chance, re-recording the voices would bump this mod up to incredible quality. Adding side missions, even just some fetch quests and rat extermination (for gold) would help round it out further.
Great addition to DAO! Multiple places to store your items and I have not experienced any problems with anything disappearing! Just one question which I anticipate may not receive an answer for a while judging by the date of the comments before mines, but how do you complete the "who let the dog out?" quest? Other than that, fantastic addon! Thank you
