Just coming in to say that it's not working for me with the Definitive edition, properly installed, and with the file correctly showing that it was patched. If others are having this issue, you are not alone.
I can confirm this too, it's not working for DE. I reinstalled and made sure the patch is working by checking the log file too everything says (xxx) patched successfully.
This mod for some reason did not work for me after following the guide. I read some comments and installed Norbyte's Script Extender instead, and now I get achievements! Thank you Fortigan and Avalan666!

To reiterate:
Install Script Extender.
DO NOT install Achivement Mod.

IF YOU ARE USING Norbyte's Script Extender THEN DON'T USE THIS MOD.
The script extender already enables achievements and if you add this mod it will disable them. AKA, they conflict.
