An Installation FAQ has been added to the description based on a lot of the same problems that have been coming up. Please go through the list before posting a new issue.
Disable any form of Cloud Saving, specifically Steam's 1) Make 4 hard saves in Dishonored (not auto or quicksaves)/main menu saves. Thank you ChopperRated 2) Exit the game 3) Unzip download folder, put files of your option into: E:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\XXXXXXXX\205100\remote (or your current install directory). Overwriting one of the saves you made earlier. 4) Start the game and load the save named 'High Overseer Campbell'. Make sure it's not a save you already made. Russian/Hungary/Czech/Poland users your file path will be Steam\userdata\XXXXXXXX\217980\remote. Thank you WhiteDrakos

I cannot find my save my save files/where does the file go? Provided you have made the saves above you can use the Windows search function to find the file named dishonored0.sav which will give you the location.
I cannot get the file to show in the game, what should I do? Dishonored can be temperamental sometimes repeating the install process will work otherwise replace one of the save files while the game is running. After loading the save its recommended to make another save.
Note = For me, I copied (ex, in Low Chaos - Money & Runes folder) the file Dishonored2.sav to the steam – remote empty directory and then had to change file name from Dishonored2.sav to Dishonored0.sav and it worked fine. starts game skipping intro.
No matter what I do, Dishonored says "The game needs a missing patch to use this save game". Is it possible the game got updated since this was released?? Id love to get NG+ going

i dont understand i downloaded the dlc file i extracted to the 205100 money and runes file i load into my game and i still dont have the stuff? in my campells hard save like ive bin trying for an hour and no luck
hello i tried installing the money and runes as ive completed the game 3 times and want a good restart. when ever i open the save it says the save has a patch that im missing. i have the definitive edition so i have the dlc. i tried installing with and without dlc still same result any suggestions??
Can I get help on how to uninstall this mod? I have created an entirely new save and for some reason I still get all the items when Corvo wakes up, I tried pretty much everything, reinstalling the game, deleting the saves, and even deleting the 205100 folder
