    Hey there.

I just wanted to say thank you.

I am not a newbie in modding, as I intensely modded skyrim (and somewhat still am).
So i started DS2 a week ago and thought about looking for mods and saw that all mods required GeDoSaTo, which i never heard before of.
I was just looking around and came to your mod here.
Your little installation guide just explained all i need to know about GeDoSaTo and DS2-modding in like 5 steps, as easy as that.

so again thank you. you know you can spend hours and hours researching, troubleshooting etc. but your installation guide just saved me a lot of time!

    Very nice work!
I was however wondering, if there is any possibility to modify robes' length? Like, make it a bit shorter - to resemble more of a trench coat somehow.

      Thanks!

I'm not sure that's something I can do, but I'll look into it. What length would you like to see? Just past knee length?

Yeah, I have no idea how to shorten the robes. I tried everything I could think of and all I kept getting was this: http://imgur.com/a/2pmLT

      Sorry.

You cannot shorten this robe. The issue is that only textures that contain transparencies from the beginning allow making more stuff transparent. And even then there are some wierd exceptions.

Since the coat doesn't use transparency in it's vanilla model, you cannot use transparency in the texture to make stuff invisible.

Well I wish I knew that 2 hours ago lol. I've been sitting here racking my brains trying to figure it out because I wanted to find out how to do it.

Yeah, I also wasted a good amount of time trying to get it work ingame.
It's really a shame though, it would've been interesting to see all what you could have done with the coat if it was possible to shorten it.

really interesting job my friend. i like how it does go well with it's own set helmet now, befoure the contrast was just weird and ruined the general feeling, if i might ask you a courtesy, could you also add a customized icon reflecting the modification you have done to chest piece? thank you .

other than that really good start, for one of your first works, subtle but classy.

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoy it.

I'll get to work on the icon for the next update. Thanks for the suggestion!
