The embossed versions are available. A few things to be clear about...
1. These are normal maps only. You need the main version installed first. 2. They need to be installed AFTER whatever main version you use. 3. These are manual install only. Not exactly convenient but it's gonna be the only way to use them. Sorry. 4. The file is located under "Miscellaneous" in the files section below all the "Old" files.
That's it. BTW, I probably won't do any more of these emboss options. They aren't difficult to do but they are annoying to make for multiple versions of the sword and i think only a very few people will actually use them.
Scratch-free versions are now available. They are not full texture sets but are normal map and specular maps only. You have to install these files AFTER you install one of the full texture sets. Sorry they couldn't full sets but there are already too many files and i didn't want to add to the clutter.
Like in the DS1 mods? I could, the only problem would be the fonts used because I'm not sure what they are. If you don't mind helping me figure that out i can do both. I think the "prepare to die" font will be harder to identify unless the author already said what it is.
You also have the option of simply renaming the DS1 textures to match the ds2 texture names because they are the same thing.
If you do an engraving, at least give the option for the text to be very small so that it doesn't totally break immersion. "SONOROUS CANNON" would be another great engraving idea.
OP is the font for BASS CANNON but i'm still confused what the PTD font is.
Edit: I think i identified the PTD font after an hour of searching... I think it's the Exocet font.
BTW, If i do these they will be normal map only files because it would balloon the file count if i made them as standalones. I might even include a psd of the normals of the text so you guys can rescale and place them to your own liking.
Boy, ever since the last DLC came out business has really slowed down around here... I assume the DS2 Nexus is going to fall off to DS1 Nexus levels soon. Such a shame.
The news is more of a bummer for me cause I already have those unreleased weapons. Some guy just dropped the golden great axe, blue longsword, red caestus, black rapier, & bloody great club. but not the white katana.
Gedosato to dump the textures and photoshop to edit and make the textures. BTW, you don't need Photoshop; GIMP or any other illustration program that supports layers will do fine.
Is there a way someone can make benheart's boots look less like pajamas, from the boots-up & possibly change the color of the boots themselves to fit the insolent gloves?
& to remove the giant shoulder boulders from the alonne capt armor so it looks like regular alonne armor.
