I was looking up the gameplay footage but the source gameplay seems to be 720p so its a bit hard to make out but it seems like the lock on for bloodborne is just a fuzzy white dot with horizontal lens flare. I can do the fuzzy white dot pretty easily but the horizontal lens flare might be an issue because in dark souls 2 the rotation of the reticle works by constantly rotating the texture so if i made the texture with horizontal flare the flare would actually rotate along an axis in game, i'll have to see if there's any layer in the reticle texture that doesn't rotate where i can place the flare. I can give it a try but it'll take a little longer than the simple reticle tinting i've been doing, is that alright?
As i feared, all parts of the texture responsible for the reticle rotate so a horizontal flare will not be possible. Would you like me to make one that is kind of like bloodborne but without the horizontal flare?
So, i've been trying to make something satisfying for the reticle but it also seems like Bloodborne uses a higher res texture space for it's reticles. Whatever i make is either detailed enough but way too big, or small enough to match but super ugly due to low res. I guess that's why DS2 has the huge circle lock on, so they have enough pixels for detail...
Hmm, i'm not sure i'd be able to do a silver one as silver requires a metallic gloss. I could make a grey that's as close as possible to silver if you like?
