I really like how this looks but for me it only works when i am in dark areas as soon as i go into a bright area the original textures rears its ugly head again. people have been saying to up the character texture or something but i am in experienced and do not know what to do help?
hey man these are friggin awesome!!! curious though, how hard would it be to make the silver variant incredibly shiny? like chrome like if at all possible?
oh, yes. I forgot to open the anti-analising when making these screen-shots, that's why you didn't see any glows in it.>.>
for the gold / silver ones, you can check the screeshots here: http://static-3.nexusmods.com/15/mods/482/images/446-3-1410775841.jpg http://static-1.nexusmods.com/15/mods/482/images/446-4-1410775841.jpg
Hey, since you have done such great work retexturing the black dragon set I think you are the best person I could suggest this to. Since the black dragon set is supposed to be made from Kalameet's scales, I was thinking it would look great with Kalameet's overall color scheme instead of the gold. Let me know what you think and if it can be done.\[T]/
Hi, darkravensilversmith again. =) First, thanks for your help. I found an important information about reflection map :: ~~~~ http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1894355-velexias-black-dragon-everything/?p=16495184 ## Reflection map was labeled as RBG-A, but it was actually shininess for "red", yellow for "green", magenta for "blue", and cyan for "alpha". ~~~~ It may help your work and let Celestine & Red Lotous more brilliant. =)
I don't think that works... on my side, changing hue = changing level of shineness. nothing else happened except that... >.> Gedosato doesn't even dump the correct reflection map at all...
maybe I should just wait a little longer, until they provide a better solution on the reflection maps...
don't worry, it's a hack. Adding it will make sure the new texture overwritten the old ones (it's the shineness map for the armor) those image will not be read by the system and the system will go read the original shineness map, with those default gold reflection effects in it.
you can also delete those hack textures after replacing the old shineness maps, the output will be complete the same

Thanks for the retexture. Especially the Celestine =)
Are you also going to retexture the black dragon's shield and the weapon set ?
if possible I'd love to at least be able to see what it looks like if you've got a cap of it or a spare set of textures form the attempt :p

There are some broken texture png file for Refurbished Gold one.
those image will not be read by the system and the system will go read the original shineness map, with those default gold reflection effects in it.
