Hi! I'm thinking of trying my hand at modding Dark Souls to be a cosplay of another video game. I would like music from said game (or any other music I may choose) to play automatically; not just during boss fights, but all the time (and music selection specific to each area of Dark Souls). Do you know how, or is it even possible, to make music play at points in Dark Souls when there is no music normally (like I said, all the time, and change between areas)?
Some area's have ambient noise you could try to replace but I'm unsure if it would sound correct, from the testing I did some places have sound filters on to fit the environment so it could sound echoing or far away or not quite what you expect. You'd have to go through the games sound files themselves between the areas to see if there is an ambient track to check. But thats the way I'd try to go about it if you did!
