But Im asking if tabbards replace otherwise would-be for sale vanilla armor attachments? Cause when I played with this mod there were much less vanilla armor attachments in the armory, like if they and tabbards are in a shared pool from which game chooses items for sale.
>>But Im asking if tabbards replace otherwise would-be for sale vanilla armor attachments?
>>like if they and tabbards are in a shared pool from which game chooses items for sale. I am not exactly sure how it works. It may working like you say. Never given it a second thought. They are added to the item pool and not replacing any other items. Then game draws them from the pool like any other item. I guess that in any place with reduced availability they can take item spots or maybe it look like they take them as they are not very high rarity compared to normal attachments(tabards have around 50/60 rarity when armor attachments have around 85 on average). and the normal attachments get cut much faster than them.
i suppose that's why there are usually like 4-5 tabbards and 0-1 original armor attachment.
anyways thank you for the reply.
p.s.: maybe a "craftable only" version. The reason is that ordinarily you can transform your average armor into a nice piece with that +40 dur. attachment. But with this mod it's almost impossible to find.
If you want only craft able versions you should delete armorsmith_building.nut from scripts\entity\world\settlements\buildings\ in the mod. That way you can still craft tabards but they will not appear in shops. You will still probably need to wait till shops refresh so they will get off from the inventory.
Would it be possible to make an alternative version that is like a cosmetic cape and is an attachment for the helmet? Cause these look great and i'd want to use them always, but i don't see myself choosing them over other attachments like Bone Plates, Fur Padding or the new Hyena one, which help me more strategically.
Would it be possible to make an alternative version that is like a cosmetic cape and is an attachment for the helmet? Nope. Unless you want to make cover up for helmet. I guess its possible to make them take accessory or maybe even ammo slot(that one would need much more tinkering). There is also possibility to adding recipes that mix attachments(say bone plates) with tabard and keep tabard look and other attachment stats.
I don't know how things work, or what a coverup for helmet would require, but i thought that as you equip a helmet it visually puts an img over brother's head, so i imagined an alt tabard attachment would just put an img over the head and body as well. I should have guessed it's more than a copy/paste job from how attachments already work visually when you equip an armor (puts an img over torso and shoulders) but that's just was my limited understanding of things. Also i think the idea for accessory or ammo slot replacement is not a better solution, i was hoping for something that keeps the existing strategy/build choice the same but makes more of a visual impact and fixes the unique helm/armor mismatch situations that can happen. And although the crafting recipes solution sounds great, it's probably too much work with so many combinations, so i understand why you chose not to do it. Anyway even as it is now i'm sure it's great for others who want options and roleplay more with their company. So congrats and thanks for answering.
Love this Mod, thank you for continuing to update it. I was curious how hard it would be to add more tabard patterns to match some of the flags from the DLC's and support pack?
Yeah, the devs have zero regards for mods the way they patch daily, they should considering mods have pretty much balanced out the unbearable ai cheating you have to deal with in vanilla.
Nearly unlimited fatique, ammo, block, rotation just to mention the basics.
Excellent, one of two mods I use. This give the player a reason to fight spiders and does not provide an over powering advantage. Love the look it gives my guys as well.
Seems to work (they showed up in one of the main Noble cities). I didn't get a chance to play more to actually buy one, equip, check that they appear at other locations, etc but I'm sure it'll be fine. Will verify and check in later.
Thank you so much for the update - this is really one of the better mods for this game imo. :)
There's a problem with the mode, the tabard does not appear on the character, like it appears on the armor art in your inventory but doesn't appear when the character wears the armor. I would highly appreciate it if you could fix the mod, but if not, then that's fine too (:
It's really weird it shows on the armor art but not on the character's sprite(chess piece thingy), also sometimes it appears on some armors but it's a texture of another tabard broken and flipped sideways.
Which is a shame since I always liked how the noble armies tabards looked and I thought this mod would scratch that edge.
I just tested it and so far its working great. I'll keep you posted, and thank you so much for this mod, all the effort you put in its amazing. Do you have any additional plans for additions or more features?
Not really. I am not really interested modding for a games that I do not play and I lost my interest in BB long time ago. I probably could make a real company tabards that match banner ones but have zero motivation to do it. I will maintain this mod as keepsake if somebody ask to fix it but that is all.
Thanks for fixing the mod, I also get bored of battle brothers and kinda stop playing for a couple of months only to return to it and get addicted once more.
Also mad respect for fixing a mod in a game that you aren't interested in anymore.

That is strange(it shouldn't). Don't worry folks I will fix it.
Though since i'm here, do you think you might include the offical house varients for those of us who like the aesthetic? As well as militia armbands?
I will think about it when I have time.
Also appear in shops and in the market.

If you find somebody who will do the art adding them is fairly easy.
Updated.
Enjoy.

Check if it works and leave feedback.

Ping me when its need updating.

Can't test it enough so I will need feedback if all things works.
