Trying this again since I did a reinstall after months of not playing. I am still amazed at how blurry the vanilla game is without a Reshade preset. Like someone greased up the lens. Yeesh.
Hello, everyone! I feel a bit stupid writing this, but I don't think I have a choice. Could anyone, please, help me figure out why the ReShade menu doesn't appear in-game? Here's the whole process: the installation goes fine (I'm currently using the latest 5.1.0 version, but as I reinstalled it a few times, I also tried different versions to see if it makes any difference), I pick DX10/11/12 as a rendering API (although I once even tried OpenGL to see if it makes any difference, even though I'm pretty sure that AC Odyssey runs on DX12), check all the effect packages and that's it, installation is successful. I run the game (I tried both Steam and Ubisoft Connect version and also tried to run it with admin privileges directly from the installation folder) load my save, and nothing happens when I push the Home button (on on-screen keyboard). As the on-screen keyboard annoyed me, I changed the toggle key to KeyOverlay=107,0,0,0 (NumPad +). No matter how many times and whatever I tried, the menu never appears. I think I should also mention that I'm using Resorep and Forger Patch Manager for some mods. I tried to disable both just for the sake of trying, but still nothing. Could you tell me what am I doing wrong, please? :( Any help will be very much appreciated! I'm at loss.

Reshade doesn't work with Resorep ! (I don't know about Forger) If you want to play with Reshade and without Resorep, my advice is to uninstall/reinstall your game and try to install reshade on clean ACodyssey installation.

Hey Lyctus The installation remains the same. Maybe some effects will not be present (from one version to another, the effects are not the same). I don't think there will be much difference in visuals with 5.0.2.

Feel free to deactivate the DOF ... yes it's quite weird when the dof is activated in the menu ^^.

If you want to play with Reshade and without Resorep, my advice is to uninstall/reinstall your game and try to install reshade on clean ACodyssey installation.
The installation remains the same. Maybe some effects will not be present (from one version to another, the effects are not the same).
I don't think there will be much difference in visuals with 5.0.2.
