I used Texmod, I then ripped the textures from there and then used Texmod to reinject the new textures using the same texture hash id's. It's all really easy to use.
Currently I am trying to get RTX Remix to work with the game but i'm having alot of difficulty getting it to inject lighting into the game. I will try and create a seperate mod for people without the raytracing side of things, but could be looking up to 6 months or more due to lack of time and struggling to get software to work appropriately.
Usually just the once then all you have to do is attach the packets on each launch, its a pain ik but thats all we have currently to modding this game.
Some of the textures are my own, but the majority i use the existing textures and just add more detail to them.. but thank you for +1 my mod! means alot!
As of right now, it only works with the GOG versions and steam versions. If you can find the executable in its install location but have Uplay open, you may be able to get it to work but i'm unsure due to not having tested this myself.
So originally i was just going to wait for the release of RTX Remix so i could work on changing models etc but instead i'm just going to do my texture mod, but it will be split into multiple categories so you can pick and choose the stuff you want etc allows for more functionality with other mods also.
This mod looks very impressive, but I've not downloaded it yet because I'm not sure it works anymore. I have Assassin's Creed: Director's Cut. Will this mod work with it without issues?
Yeah, it should work but i do know there are resourcing issues with the latest beta version, so it may crash or run really slow :) i would go about reworking this but i deleted all of the images for this, so no way of recovering them unfortunately
ngl kinda amazing youre still on here. But if youre actually serious about potentially using the new rtx remix damn. Ill def wait as long as it takes props to you dude
Hey, not been signed in for a while. I have been putting in alot of work into new textures and ensuring they are properly segregated so that people will be able to modify the game themselves too. I have recently seen about RTX Remix, which could be a new and proper way to enjoy the game without the need for Texmod. So i am also preparing myself to optimise for that. Thank you for your patience.
