It works. You just have to copy your current .sl2 save and rename ther extention to co2. If you want more help it's explained in the video guide on the mod.
it was working well but suddenly it gave me a "check recieved request and sortie on mission" when i click on missions and wont let me continue story. i can launch missions from replay. I tried replacing my save file but its giving me the same problem.
nevermind it was the reg.bin file for some reason it got corrupted after i went back to the original game (launch from steam) to play while i wait for my friend as we wanted to save our playthrough). but replacing the reg fixed it.
i have found the issue i think. If you start the mission "reach the coral convergence (any version of that) in a party, only the host will enter the mission and give the party member the message not available for co op. and once that mission ends it sends the host back to the menue. normally that missions will directly send the player to the next mission "escape" which the briefing is done there. the error i got when it sent me back to the menu was check recieved request and sortie on mission i think refers me to check the briefing that i have no way to check from the menue.
what fixed it for me was replacing the regulation.bin file.

Joined one friend in MP made progress through him, then joined a 3rd person in their hosted game and we all progressed him a bit. The problem I am having now is, when I got to play my own session, Instead of chapter 2, I am in chapter 1, I finished the first mission. The game now proceed's to tell me that I cannot sortie until the game is fully installed.

it literally stopped working overnight
EDIT: I GOT IT TO WORK. apparently, Microsoft Defender auto-deleted it, first I had to tell Microsoft Defender that it was NOT a virus then just drag the .dll back into the AC6 co-op folder
When me and my friend reached Chapter 4 Reach Coral Convergence we had to do it Solo, which was fine with both of us. Once we finished it, It put me in Chapter 5 Escape and put my Coop partner in the Garage unable to proceed through the game without me hosting. It was fine until we realized he gets locked out of unlocking the Parts for Chapter 5. He was fine after we beat the game once, but the 2nt time through we ran into the same issue again.
I start the game from the mod luncher , just want to try finish a mission solo, after that I cant lunch the mod anymore. A window pops out says the error numer is 2, I tried to fix this by putting mod files back again but doesnt work. Is there a solution on this? Hope I describe this correct enough.
