First and foremost, turn EAC off! This is probably the most important thing that changed with SMX for A20. If you do not know how to do this please take a look at the video further down in the post.
The reason for this is that SMX now use Harmony to mod deeper than ever before. We now inject code directly into the game engine on load and alter and add to back end code to suit our needs.
EAC = Easy Anti Cheat and can be turned off in the game launcher.
Also, not all windows have been converted to the new design yet! So if you open a window and the vanilla window appears, this is normal! No need to write us about it! :)

Backup your save game before installing ANY mods to the game. We don't expect SMX to cause any issues, it is just good practice!
Download the mod or mods you want to install from the FILES tab.
Decompress the downloaded files with WinRAR or a compatible compression software like 7zip.
Copy or move the Mods folder you just decompressed into your 7 Days to Die installation folder. Overwrite if prompted.
Verify your install by checking that the ModInfo.xml file is located in this Hierarchy: "\Mods\modletname\ModInfo.xml"
Remove by deleting the modlet folder in question from within the Mods folder.
Still not sure how to install SMX to your system? Take a look at this video, the process is the same but SMX comes with the Mods folder, so when you extract it you just drag the entire Mods folder over.

To be able to enjoy SMX with A21 you will have to disable Easy Anti Cheat or EAC for short. To do so, follow the instructions below:
Open Steam.
Go to your Game Library and select 7 Days to Die, click "PLAY".
Now you get a popup, select "Show Game Launcher".
In the launcher, under the "Game start options" there is a tick box called "Use EasyAntiCheat (EAC)", make sure it is disabled.
Click "Run & Save as default"
If you do the above correctly you have now disabled EAC. If you found the instructions hard to follow you can take a look at the video below and you will get a better understanding on how it's done.
SMX is part of Guppy’s modding community and as such we have our own channel there. We are found in the #sirillion_smx channel under the HOSTED MOD CHANNELS section of the server. You can come there for support but please avoid pinging me, or anyone else for that matter, when doing so. I have the channel monitored so when you post there I will know.
And please remember, nothing is life or death with this game, posting for support on all our channels and then resorting to DM's if not answered within the minute is not the way to go. We are very active, pick a place to ask for support, post a post and stick with it until answered.
You should also avoid sending me DM’s or friend requests on Discord. I only accept friends requests from people I know, so that will be to no avail.
There is a known issue that when you are at a trader and are looking at quests to accept or decline that if you decline a quest the console will do an error pop-up. You can run the "xui reload" console command to break free of the error pop-up. Also, until Laydor can fix this issue you can just use ESC to leave the dialog window instead of declining the quest.
2023.06.22 - v21.0.317.1 has a workaround for now until the bug can be fixed.
It it somehow possible to download the (really) old versions for A15? Managed to get an old save from 15.2 with True Survival that seems to be using Smx for UI elements, but they point to tinypic.com and are long gone, but would love to get it working again.
Sorry if this was asked a lot of times. Is this mod compatible with "QuickStack" and "Hit bar - health bar Alpha 19 to 21.0"? If not, will there be any plans to make it compatible?
Sad, I just tried your mod and it's really fantastic, but I also found "QuickStack" is not compatible. Since I installed 30Kstack and specific mod for modifying the container's space, so it's not that neccesary, but if it's compatible, it could be better :( And in fact I downloaded Hitbar with SMX at the same time, and then, I just saw the image of SMX which show the hitbar of your own version XD.
That is as intended. Mostly because we didn't want to have to rework the vanilla perks and with that also the localizations in all the languages. It can be adjusted in the xml files of course so if you want to do that just dig into it, and no, I will not explain how.

Hello Sirillion, firstly I just want to say thank you for providing such a nice set of mods.
Unfortunately I seem to be having an issue with my food & water meters in game. Originally as is supposed to happen when I started a new game I'd get hungry & thirsty at 50%. But as every day or two passes my need to drink & eat goes up by 1%.
I'm currently in day 20 of my current game and my need to eat & drink before stamina debuffs now triggers at 60% which is crazy, I've every reason to believe this is going to keep increasing as my in game days progress.
I cannot tell you why that happens, I can only tell you it is not related to SMX. We only change the graphics, not the function. So if this happens to you it is likely related to another mod or some other feature/bug in the game. As for SMX we only say "use this sprite instead of that sprite" and "use this color instead of that color."
Define installed the Big Bag Mod. Did you install SMXui and then ZMXuiCPBBM or one of the variations of that? Or did you just install a variation of ZMXuiCPBBM and not SMXui?
Is it just me, or the mod doesn't quite work on co-op ? i tried inviting my friend and the game crashed. impossible to play together as it always crashes the game,,
The mod works just fine in multiplayer. But both clients needs to have the mod installed. And also, both clients need to be on the same game version and have the same mod version installed.
Also be advised that adding other mods to the mix could potentially cause issues.

That optional modlet has nothing to do with the menu, it only changes the size on one element on the HUD.
Maybe I am blind but cannot see this patch in list of files to download? Does appear in old archived list but not see in current?

i install ZMXuiCPBBMl and SMXui i also tried other variation of the Big Bag Mod with the same result
Do you get any errors in the console? Do you have a screenshot to share? A logfile?

Yeah, that is a thing that can happen when adding the BBM to an already existing save. Usually fixes itself when looting/inventory managing.
Also be advised that adding other mods to the mix could potentially cause issues.
