My antivirus reports a trojan or deletes SMAPI files? SMAPI most likely doesn't have a trojan; see SMAPI files disappear or antivirus complains for info on why your antivirus may be reporting it, how to check if it's safe, and how to install SMAPI when that happens.
When I launch the game, the console appears temporarily and then exits, or Steam briefly shows "playing"? See Game doesn't launch in the troubleshooting guide for help with that.
How do I ask for help? You can often get a faster response by asking the community instead. If you do ask here, [url=https://smapi.io/log]upload your SMAPI log and add a link to your message. This has useful info like what versions you have, which mods are installed, what happened in the game, etc. Please do this even if you don't see an error in the log.
Hello! This isn't game breaking, but I am having an issue where all the modded characters don't appear in the Y1 festivals except for maybe one or two. It's like this for SVE, Ridgeside and East scarp so I'm not sure where the issue is coming from. The game will give these messages for random characters each festival, but the characters do appear in any festival cutscenes:

I haven't gotten to Y2 yet, so I'm unsure if this is just an issue the first year festivals or all in general. This bug has been pretty consistent for every festival so far, and the last one it appeared in was the valley fair, I haven't seen the Halloween or winter tree star ones yet. festivals added by mods are working just fine though. I don't know why, but my wives (I'm using PolyamorySweet) don't appear in the map at all when they are inside the farmhouse, and a I guess that it should be connected with the fact that the house appears like being in the superior right corner on the map, where my character also figures like being when inside it.
Almost all the mods are actually up to date, minus PlyamorySweet because it has a bug with spouse rooms in the last update.

I freshly uninstalled and reinstall smapi because all the sound for my game has completely disappeared, but even running with 0 mods outside of SMAPI the sound is still gone. I only get sound with completely vanilla stardew. Is any one else experiencing this? should I go to an older version of smapi or anything? I honestly dont know what to try. It's making it impossible to fish haha By the way, I am experiencing all of this on a steam deck, the first iteration of it if this info makes any difference, so I can only troubleshoot via a linux system
