- Added a new pack into the game with every single card in it (it's in the Vrains section and can unlock it by clearing the very first duel in DM. Did it this way so you can start the game technically with every card available, but you can also entirely ignore this pack and if nothing else, can use it to keep track of how many cards you collected).

Note- the exe file in the download only removes the pause screen when the game is not focused, so is only there in case you want that mod as well, otherwise you don't need it for the mod. 



Original 1.0 mod changes-

There's 2 versions, one that has the monster animations on and other that has them off, but otherwise they are identical. Also note that this includes my JP/Uncensored artwork on the cards that have them and also includes my exe that has the pausing fix that stops the game from pausing when the game is not focused (you don't need to use this exe for the actual mod if you don't want that fix), also I put an alternate version without animations in the Mirror links. 


Features of the mod-

-Updated the banlist to the current one

-Added some alternate art to monsters that have them (I have zero interest in editing these further lol, but can help others if you want to change them through editing)

-Added a bunch of characters, including new ones, previously npc/unplayable characters and alternate versions of some characters as well.

-Added in 40 new duels, for a total of 80 new story decks and 56 new duelist challenges.

-some minor UI/art related stuff.

Notes-This mod was intended to add content only, not remove or alter existing stuff that much, so it can be used as a standard base of sorts for other mods that people make, (which means if you thought a story deck was bad before, it's still bad now lol), so I didn't touch existing decks much if at all. There are a few existing things I changed though such as-

-Pegasus duelist challenged is new and previous Madolche challenge is on Mindy.
-Anna Kaboom's challenge is new, with previous deck on Anubis.
-Sylvio's challenge is also new, with the previous deck on the Tag Force MC.

All existing duels that I altered somehow are marked with *, this means you can play those again to unlock the new alternate versions of characters. I originally played to have the 5D's duel Digging Deeper with a part 2 that had the Dark Signer version of Carly against Sayer, but opted to change the existing duel to be that instead, with only a brief new cutscene afterwards, but note that she is still using her normal deck without the Earthbound Immortal. 

All new duels are marked with "Bonus" for 40 total new duels. I didn't add story to these mainly in case someone wants to create a full Vrains story for the Campaign and would need the story space for that instead. 


Note- If you are using an existing save, it will push your story progress around a bit as in some new duels may get marked as cleared and duels you finished may be locked, but you can just play each of these again to unlock them and unlock the decks and characters. All duels marked with 'Bonus' are new ones that you'd have to play normally and reverse duels again, and ones marked with * are edited duels to have alternate versions of characters and such, clearing that duel against the alt will unlock them to be playable.


Finally, I created the mod in English only but it should work in other languages, but the duel names, deck names and character names will be in English, all card names and descriptions and story scenes should remain in the selected language. I only tested the English version, so let me know if there's any bugs or anything.


To install, just unrar and place the .dat, .toc and exe (exe is optional, and only contains the no pausing fix for when the game is not focused, you don't need to copy that over if you don't need that fix) where your Link Evolution directory is, either moving the original files somewhere else for safekeeping/backup or overwriting the old files.
