The purpose of this patch is to restore the licensed music from the Japanese version of Yakuza 5 that was unfortunately cut from all western versions of the game due to SEGA refusing to license the songs in question - "Bloody Moon" by Gospels of Judas, as well as "Still the One", "So Far So Close", "Eien ~Eternity~", "Wild Romance", "Tamashii wo Daitekure" and "Diamond Dust" by Japanese singer "Kyosuke Himuro", finally "Don Quixote Theme" of the Japanese discount chain store "Don Quijote Co., Ltd.".
Additionally, all pre-rendered videos have been replaced by the original ones from PS4 as they are higher quality than their PS3 and PC counterparts, you can find a comparison between them in the Images section, you will notice that the PC ones suffer from severe video macroblocking and artifacting issues which is why for this patch we opted to replace the videos with the PS4 ones.
Finally, one of Saejima Taiga's costumes has been uncensored to the the original Imperial Japan soldier uniform found in the original PS3 release that was unfortunately censored in PS4/PC versions due to its association with Japanese Imperialism in some regions of the world.

Those of you that might be familiar with our music restoration patches for the PS3 and PS4 Yakuza titles should be right at home with this patch.
This video below will give you a glimpse of what you can expect after restoring the licensed music - only intro and one early game cutscene shown as other places are spoilers:
