About this mod

The Nishiki QOL mod is designed to accompany a Nishiki model change and/or moveset replacer, and replaces nearly all Kiryu-orientated UI with Nishiki versions. This includes menu changes, portrait changes and new fighting style icons. In the future, this mod aims to expand by including sound changes and some minor minigame edits.

The Nishiki QOL mod is designed to accompany a Nishiki model change and/or moveset replacer, and seeks to replace nearly all Kiryu-orientated UI and Audio with Nishiki versions. This includes menu changes, portrait changes and new fighting style icons, while swapping Nishiki and Kiryu's audio, with new additions.

Currently addressed in this mod:
-All known Kiryu UI has been replaced with new Nishiki versions, aside from the images on the abilities page, which is currently WIP. If you spot anything I missed, let me know and I'll make sure it's included in this mod.

-Audio is very WIP; no combat voices for now, but a number of minigames are fully voiced by Nishiki - disco, pocket circuit and baseball for example. Judgement audio has been swapped, but still barebones.
-Of particular note is that combat encounter voice lines and generic dialogue (side quests etc.) are now voiced.
-Additionally, counterpart 'Nishiki' now has some Kiryu lines, though this is just in it's initial stages. You'll notice it in a few minigames and potentially in some generic dialogue.

Currently planned:
-Higher resolution UI - source images are too low res, eg Bed of Styx image.
-Ability images in skill tree

-Nishiki voice changes for combat - I've already developed the files, a simple roadblock is preventing me from implementing them.
-Full coverage for all minigames - might be difficult for some games with specific voice lines, but definitely possible.
-Finished Judgement swap - Animations need to be swapped and 'Nishiki' version needs the vanilla support changed.
-Completion of 'ambient' sound files, eg running.
-Complete swap of 'Nishiki and Kiryu in it's entirety

-Potentially, I'll look at the possibility of modifying text so that it reads Nishiki and not Kiryu.

Credit for some of the UI elements used in creating the fighting style UI goes to BenUseful and his Nishiki mod for Kiwami

I'd suggest taking a look at Lew's Nishiki over Kiryu mod if you're looking for a model swap to go with this. I personally use that mod coupled with manual replacements from some vanilla models. You'll find it here.
