This is a repack of several files for the Long War of the Chosen Mod that has been updated to not crash with the Epic Games Launcher. It requires the rest of the War of the Chosen Mod created by Pavonis Interactive from the steam workshop, as well as its dependencies.
First acquire the following mods from steam workshop using either a friend, or some helping website such as this one
AccurateSituationReport
BetterSecondWaveSupport
LongWarOfTheChosen
ModConfigMenu
robojumperSquadSelect_WotC
WOTCRevertOverwatchRules
X2WOTCCommunityHighlander
X2WOTCCommunityPromotionScreen
YetAnotherF1
Once those mods have been extracted to your .\XCOM2\XCom2-WarOfTheChosen\XComGame\Mods folder (make sure each mod folder name matches name of the .XComMod inside of the folder) you can extract the contents of this zip file over them.
finally You will also need to delete (or rename) the Engine.upk.uncompressed_size and XComGame.upk.uncompressed_size file buried in .\XComGame\Mods\X2WOTCCommunityHighlander
The epic games version of xcom 2 has been recompiled and re baked to include epic specific launcher and multiplayer functions, as well as a few other small things. Because of this, the textures moved and some gui elements are slightly different. I have fixed this mod to be able to start lwotc campaign, but i did not attempt to test any online interactions whatsoever and are not supported. To play without the war of the chosen expansion, see my other mod here.
