this mod adds playable sectopods to your game

you can get them through either the proving ground project or through an addsectopodrecruit command (sectopods are really expensive but if you want me to also attach the requirement of having the sectopod autopsy or just want changes on prices im open on feedback)
DO NOT TRY TO CUSTOMIZE THEIR NAME AS VIEWING CHARACTER INFO FREEZES YOU

abilities:
squaddie: teleport (use at your own discretion and do not ask me to remove it, this is so sectopods can reach high places, without this, evac on a cliff or roof will make you lose your sectopod)
corporal: high stance and low stance (you need to get both or your sectopod wont be able to go down from high stance)
sergeant: lightning field
lt: wrath cannon, 3rd AP
captain: Blast padding, Deadeye, Rapid Fire
major: Squadsight
colonel: hail of bullets

this is MOST LIKELY the final version besides maybe an occasional bug fix, things you see could be changed but probably wont, however im always open to suggestions for what you want to see changed on the sectopod!

known bugs:
character customization freezes the game (fix not known, sectopods seem to be my only mod where this happens)
sectopods can catch fire disabling their ability to do pretty much anything (to avoid this i gave them the ability to carry utility items, and recommend giving them any item that grants fire immunity like a hazmat vest)
