Commander, we've leveraged a major breakthrough by Dr. Tygan to bring you an important collection of new recruits. These soldiers are beyond capable resistance fighters. They are designed to win the hearts and minds of every human on every continent.

Tygan modified alien technology to build a resurrection device that regenerated anyone as long as we had their DNA. The device took immense power. We correctly estimated we'd have just seven weeks before the device would burn itself out.

So we immediately dispatched teams across the globe to capture DNA from history's greatest rebels and revolutionaries – our world's legendary fighters who have inspired their countrymen and continents and think nothing of fighting against great odds.

Many of history's great leaders were lost through time and brutal Advent cultural purges. But of the 127 names we had on our list, we found DNA from 34 of them. We explain in their biographies why we dispatched our recon teams to get these specific revolutionaries. There are also details in those bios about the current state of the former countries and continents that made up a free and independent earth.

There are names you likely know through movies and history books, Commander. Leaders like Guy Fawkes, Braveheart and Joan of Arc have joined the fight. But you'll find lesser-known rebels like South Korea's Jeon Bongjun, India's Phoolan Devi and Mexico's Petra Herrera equally formidable.

Never fear, Commander. These mods are Long War compatible. Some of these revolutionaries – after learning of their legacies – have gone “Hollywood.” Simon Bolivar sports a pair of sunglasses after seeing a modern popular caricature of the Latin American hero. Fawkes mimics the lifestyle of many of his most ardent fans. George Washington has wrapped himself in the American flag (literally).

Those are small details, however. Each of history's heroes has embraced the mission to re-spark global revolution and evict Advent and the aliens from Earth. The full list is below. Good luck, Commander.
