The Workshop version of this is ~16MB and was last updated on the 15th Feb, are there any material changes to the nicknames in that version to the one here?

Should be fairly easy and straightforward to add your "[Ranger X2SoldierClassTemplate] ;ALPHABETICAL ORDER RandomNickNames[0]="Bandit" RandomNickNames[1]="Blitz" RandomNickNames[2]="Brick" RandomNickNames[3]="Butcher" ..." In the ModBuddy. Just read the Quickstart PDF with that in mind (in Mod Buddy click on Help/XCom 2 Modding Docs).
I figured as much. I have made an addition, but I'm not sure if it is working or not. Trying to find debug commands to fast level up characters to see if it works
use the console command LevelUpBarracks [Number] - Level up all soldiers in the barracks by [Number] ranks. Best part is, you will level ALL of the soldiers, so you can really see if it is working or not.
