      I would assume they gave the sniper a bright yellow tiger striped sniper rifle since they enjoyed the way it looked and being a video game you don't have to worry about being seen unless you running into the zone the enemy is "watching". Hell my snipers have cigarettes which no real sniper would smoke during an operation.
