Intercepting abduction/terror ships
I saw that a separate mini-mod with this has already been published. A simple thing that was in the original. Allows you to detect and engage UFOs that are going to terrorize or abduct. It is not particularly easy as these UFOs pack a punch, but I feel the game is better with it.
New difficulty level
The gap between Normal and Classic difficulty is very significant. Now ideally I'd like to add a whole new difficulty level, but this doesn't seem to be possible, so the mini-mod essentially replaces the Easy level. It's now a different level, between Normal and Classic.
This difficulty level has tough and deadly enemies (same as Classic), and most other settings (funding, continent bonuses, Elerium amounts) from Classic, with the main difference being that it's easier to keep countries on the Council. The game starts with lower panic levels than Classic, and, importantly, Satellites have a higher chance than on Classic of reducing panic on a monthly basis.
