About this mod

*Cheers!*
Our Gran Pulse's best Commando (because I dislike you, Snow) joins Xcom in her task to avoid getting turned into a Cie'th. With around 1157 lines (some of them being chopped off into several, so technically, a LOT more), you'll have plenty of aussie-sounding cockiness for long. Lines taken from (what I reckon) the entire XIII trilogy

Permissions and credits
There's tons of name dropping for her in the character customization screen, but other than that, not that much during the missions, I tried to "keep it clean" on that regard. She can also be kinda quiet when moving or overwatching but don't get fooled, lass was able to turn into Ragnarok so she won't have any trouble going aggro from time to time. She was voiced by Rachel Robinson/Rigg.

Big, absolute thanks to COKEORPEPSI50 since he extracted the audio for the entire XIII trilogy and even labelled, the madlad/lass. Now, for what I understood, it doesn't include the audio from pre-rendered cutscenes (that's normal, since they usually have the voice audio blended with sfx and music), but hear me out, his deeds are simply titanic. Go check his work!

Have a quick glance at her voice here:

Or here, if you don't mind skipping up to 2:46:

Installation for Long War users:

1) To install...go to XCom-Enemy-Unknown\XEW\XComGame\CookedPCConsole, create a folder named "Voice" if you need it, and place the first folder that came inside the .rar file.

2) Then go to XCom-Enemy-Unknown\XEW\XComGame\Config, open DefaultContent, then press ctrl + f / ctrl + b (one of 'em should work), and search for eCharVoice_FemaleBlueshirt1. You'll end up with a highlighted line that will look a little bit like this: VoicePackageInfo=(VoiceType=eCharVoice_FemaleBlueshirt1,ArchetypeName="Voice_BSFVoice1.BSFVoice1").

3) Below it (or anywhere around the voicepacks section for that matter), you gotta place this voicepack's specific config line, here, let me show you how I currently have it:

; Fang (RUBY)
VoicePackageInfo=(VoiceType=eCharVoice_FemaleSoldier5,Language=31,ArchetypeName="FemaleVoice46_Canadian.Voice_FemaleVoice46_Canadian")

Notes: see that "Language=X" part? Change it to whatever you see fit. From 0 to 6 it's the vanilla EW languages (English, Italian, French, Spanish, you know the drill).

If you, for example, want to have this vp in the British English section, you gotta change it into Language=7. Then you gotta change the "Voice_Male/FemaleSoldierX" into whatever you need. If you already have 3 male voices for British English, and you want to add another one, you'll have to have the new one as "Voice_MaleSoldier4,Language=7". Otherwise, if you have 2 that look the same there, one will "override" the other, and the game will detect one of them, instead of both. You gotta tidy up up them config lines if you download a buncha vps, ya' know!

You can have up to 9 voices in each "Language" for males, but only up to 6 with females, and 2 with MECs. If you go beyond that, the game will start overriding some of them, and you won't be able to use a couple of 'em. You just gotta try and label them as you see fit!

If the installation guide didn't made any sense to you, follow this guide:

Remember to paste this voicepack's specific config line!
Big thanks to ObelixDk for his lovely, lovely guide.

Installation for Vanilla EW users: check any of MJpoland's voicepacks for a guide, as I really, really don't know what to do with Vanilla EW!
