DESCRIPTION: This file is a Texmod package file to convert some of the flags shown on the XCom operative models' backs to their real life infrared and subdued variants. Duplicate UK IR flags are present to replace both the original UK and Scotish flags. Menu flags are not modified and therefore retain their full color variations. Only some flags have been modified. If you can direct me to a sample of a low-visability variant of an actual military patch of one of the missing nations, I will gladly add it.
INSTALLATION: Extract irflags.tpf from irflags.zip and utilize Texmod to display the contain in your game. An excellent tutorial on the installation and use of the Texmod program, which this mod requires, is available at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fyEhFzbF09s
NOTE TO THOSE WHO KNOW BETTER: I can only claim direct in-use observation of US and UK IR flags (option taken for the woodland variants out of preference). If you have direct military experience with another nation represented in XCom and wish to direct me to an example of more common use low-vis variation I will happily correct in an updated file.
