It works for me with current LWR v1.38.17, installed using PatcherGUI. I haven't tested stacking of XP from upgrades, but can confirm basic functionality so far.
Wasn't sure if I messed up, or limitation of the game - but can you set it to do fractions of xp a day? I was trying to make it so that basically, it gave .5 exp per day per max rank (so 1 xp per 2 days) but it seemed to cause it to fail - even if you had upgrades which totaled to 1 or more exp per day.
Edit: It appears the game can NOT recognize fractions of Exp, even when the combined fractions are a whole number, so if the default is .5 exp, then you add .5 exp as well for building ost for a total of 1exp a day, the game wont acknowledge it.
I changed the values mid game and now it sees to have stopped working.. I hit May and gone 9- 11 days into the month no joy there. Any way to fix it? Actually found my own fix
Might be a dull question, but it`s never mentioned anywhere - does the non-SecondWave version have an effect on playthroughs that have been started prior to installing it? Do i just load a save and have my soldiers gain idle xp, or does it only work if i start over?
I have to ask because it isn't specifically stated. (I am slightly blind on the other hand and could have easily missed it)
Does VR Training affect Psi experience?
If you go heavy on the Gene Mods your soldiers will spend quite a lot of time resting. This has become apparent to me this current game. If VR does affect Psi, or can be modded to do so, it would really help my long term planning.
so i do not know how to say this but somehow i found a potential gamebreaking critical error. how this happen or why i am not sure but ive tested this on my game with soldiers(i think i have about 115 because i have 100 and i got 15 free from council request) and anytime your troops reach i think corporal or level 5 somehow this mod starts breaking down. soldiers getting promoted past what i assigned in the installation(i think i limited it to level 4 so just nickname is unlocked). when the bomb inside the mod explode i got this on my launch-backup on the very bottom

i think this mod breaks down when there is too many soldiers active. if your going to ask why some location on the filename not found section is x i have to hide it for privacy.
i think at most at 45~60, anything more the goes "im useless, commits sepuku." also somehow the rank factors in. it begins after all of the available solder reached rank 5 i think(ive bumped the maximum level the vr training gives.)

changed it to a max of 3 XP per day. Feels otherwise too imba.
