A simple "mod" for the lazy, who just want a smaller delay before splattering alien brains everywhere. See below for manual instructions.
If you're using the Graphics Mod by philstatUK, make sure you install this AFTER installing the graphics mod. The latter alters the XComEngine.ini file, and it will overwrite the changes needed to remove the intros.
It's pretty obvious what he meant: "No mod necessary.". He is telling people that it might be easier to just comment out those 4 lines from their ini, rather than downloading and running a batch.
Well of course theres no mod necessary. If u can even call a batch file a mod to begin with. It was put on here, for ppl that didnt want to or didnt know where to find the command lines. Nevermind lol good good
@Psycros Thats strange, look again! Theres gotta be an xcom folder in ur documents area. Most likely in a folder called "my games"
(also make sure u log on the game and start a game, and have a save) If u dont do that, that folder might not be created yet...(not too sure about that)
There's no XCOMENGINE.INI file in that folder for me. Instead its in C:\Program Files (x86)\XCOM Enemy Unknown\XComGame\DLC\PCConsole\DLC_PackIn\Config. It also has no reference to movies.

\Users\{your username}\Documents\My Games\XCOM - Enemy Unknown\XComGame\Config
OR (both are the same directory)
\My Documents\My Games\XCOM - Enemy Unknown\XComGame\Config
open XComEngineConfig.ini and CTRL+F for [FullScreenMovie]
Either remove or comment out the following lines and you will skip the intro movies. No mod necessary.
StartupMovies=Logo_2KFiraxis
StartupMovies=UE3TechLogo
StartupMovies=LogoLegal_PCConsole
StartupMovies=1280x720_Black
Commenting out simply means add a few slashes in front of those lines and the game will ignore them.
e.x.
//StartupMovies=Logo_2KFiraxis
//StartupMovies=UE3TechLogo
//StartupMovies=LogoLegal_PCConsole
//StartupMovies=1280x720_Black
