Permissions and credits
There are two versions of this mod: XCOM TOPGUN and XCOMUSA. Both replace the countries flags seen on the Barracks and during combat missions.

1) XCOM TOPGUN: personalized armor markings for your soldiers. Consists of 29 unique markings, taken from several sources (insignias, etc.). UPDATED for EW.

2) XCOMUSA: to simulate XCOM having specific national teams, with soldiers coming from different units, this mod substitutes the flags on the Barracks and armor with 29 military badges and insignia of USA current and former units. This version is currently unavailable as it is being updated for EW.
The current units include: Special Forces, Rangers, SEALs, 1st and 3rd Marine, 82nd and 101st Airborne, 1st Cavalry, 10th Mountain, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 29th Infantry Divisions, 11th Cavalry, 173rd Airborne and 160th Aviation Regiment, plus National Guard and WW2 formations.
There's also a subdued version available on the download.
