This is a remake of ehtschu123's split shields to be more realistic.

The Split factions have poor shield abilities due to the vast majority of funding going to weapons and turret research. These shields are the result of a vast effort by various factions to produce better shielding with the continued discovery of new races and factions in the known universe. However, these may only be available for purchase at a particular Split faction.
This is what you get:
None are overpowered. Each is about what the logical next higher edition would have been. I do love the work ehtschu123 put into creating new shields, but they were unrealistically overpowered in a way I do not care for. So, I re-created these shields to coincide with what is currently available. Even the best Split shields are still not as powerful as other Factions. All of these shields are not available in one place. Just like in the vanilla game you have to befriend other Split factions to get access to better shielding.

- M Shield Generator Mk3
- L Shield Generator Mk3
- XL Shield Generator Mk2
