Simple Basic Game Profile for Mod Organizer 2 to work with X4: Foundations
This profile is currently setup to only add files to the 'extensions' folder, using MO2's virtual file system. It also does not touch save games as it appears those are saved to a uniquely numbered subfolder per user. 1.0.1 fixes the nexusmods link so that you can download/view the mods from nexus correctly now.
To install: Extract the file to your Mod Organizer 2 "\plugins\basic_games\games" folder. You will see a bunch of other game.py files in there.
Steam vs Non-Steam Either one will actually work with Steam, however by using the Steam version, when you launch it, it will launch through the Steam launcher. This will enable the Steam mods to also get downloaded. They will get saved to the MO2 overwrite folder. You can then move them into their own mod folders in MO2. Or just leave them in overwrite.
If you don't have Steam, don't use the steam version it will fail to launch.
