Made with the game v5.10 but should work for a while (until Egosoft realizes they made an improper choice (and also changes the name which is improper too: ui_notification_pickup_fail (so, probable error from them)).
Particularly useful if you do Advanced Satellite trading (for the millions it gets ye).
The original sound is in the Miscelleanous Files section (for info).
Installation Copy the directory 'ship_upgrade_warning_to_soft_sound_change' in X4\extensions (where the DLCs are placed, not in ...\Documents\Egosoft\X4\extensions (I've read)).
Uninstallation Delete the directory 'ship_upgrade_warning_to_soft_sound_change'.
Save friendfly. Can be installed and uninstalled with no consequence.
Should work with all the game languages. Compatible with Linux.
