Vanilla autosalvage (as of 5.1) randomly chooses 1 of the scrap processors on its destination station to try to deliver to and then waits 1-3 minutes if it can't before trying again. This leads to manticores wandering about a scrap processor, often races to try and deliver, and only 1-2 scrap processors being able to be run at any one time.
This mod has them cycle through all and try all processors on the station until a delivery is made.
It's not perfect, because there's no way to tell if a scrap processor is ready to receive input, but it runs about 95% more efficiently in terms of processors being filled.
