it should work except new sectors of hyperion pack dlc if it added any. I am not playing x4 currently so update may take long time.Since my mods are generally diff patches they should work regardless of game version.
I didnt have time to check the files or even play 7.00 update lately but if file structures remained same it shoud work. If the new dlc added new minig zone types it will not work on these zone types.I will update my mods whenever I find the time for necessary work. Well I dont expect to find free time for at least 2 weeks more so an update is at least 2 weeks away... sorry:)
Thanks for this! One request, is there any way you could add a 5x and 20x variant as well?
I would do it myself, but I'm completely new to modding. As an example, in your .xml the line: <replace sel="/regionyields/resource[@ware='ore']/yield[@name='lowest']/@replenishtime">60</replace>
would I just need to replace the 60 with 30 to get a 5x?
A much cooler feature would be to add the ability to modify the multiple on the fly from the Extensions Options settings, but that's way above my paygrade
sorry for late reply you can modify my files value to your wishes and use personally, Note that even with the mod some depleted zones needs some time to replenish. Now how to change my values to your wishes; values are in second so >60< means 60 second if you want 5x version just double the values. >60< =10x reduction, >120< =5x reduction, >30< =20x reduction, vanilla value=>600<, just change values with "replenishtime", I also increased nwidium yields by 4x, so if you increase these values you will increase yield of nvidium. currently Im sick, so I will probably add the versions you requested when I feel better.
they were the games orinijal field yield classification method. very high means classified as very high yield fields. I believe it is the stars that shown when a mining probe detects yields. values of very high shown as 5 star yield, lowest shown as zero star yield. this mod only changes a few nividium yields and fields replenish time so minerals can always be found in the universe Because heavy modding sometimes cause overmining by npcs and cause 5star yielded fields to become depleted in short time, this tries to prevent that.
yes it can be added on existing save but I dont recommend it. Because you can only see changes by observing several hours of "this mod included" gameplay. Region replenish occurs in cycles and every cycle replenishes small amount of yield, With that in mind "originally high yield but depleted while gameplay" kind of regions require too many cycles for quick observation. This is how game mechanics work. By the way if you have some other mods that changes same file/values only one of the mods will work while others owerriten by it. I made this mod to counter the "broken economy because of overmining and depleted regions" issue of some heavily modded games. thats why I recommend using it at the game start since depleted regions will take long time to replenish game economy will also require long time to get back on its feet. enjoy:)
So I've noticed that the resource still depletes at the same rate as before when I installed this mod, and the nvidium desopit revealed by the probe didn't change at all, so it didn't work and there must be a conflict... I don't have other significant mods other than VRO, would that mod in conflict with this one?
I dont think vro is the issue since it doesnt modify regionyields.xml file. five cases I can think of; 1-you have a mod that adds/changes mining zones/nebulas/asteroid densities or a mod that modifies vanilla mining zones completely, 2-you have a mod that adds new sectors. Some of the sector mods modifies vanilla regions so modder can use it as they see fit in their sector mods. there are ways to bypass this. I recommend changing my mod's folder name so it would be the last mod to load in alphabethic order. 3-You probably already have satelliles most of the sectors so game cant change already runnig values. You can test it if this is the issue by starting a new game and observing for an ingame hour. 4-Your games modifications are somewhat more demanding than this mods capability. Try changing my values. 5-if you are using windows 7 or 8 uncompressed mods(mods that is not in .cat format) like this may not work on your game. If that is the case you can compress these mods to .cat format by using XR cat tool or you can reply this post and I upload a cat file when I am able.

If not, please update ^^
