Turbo Lanzer is created in form of one main file and many small sub_mods. Player can choose which features are good for his play style.
WHAT IT DOES?
- Faster ships, more diversified equipment and weapons - in general: no more better or worse weapons (like mk1/mk2), there are short range [low projectile speed, massive damage], and long range [range x1.5 or x2, faster 'bullet' speed, but low damage]
- 'Overweaponisation' - ships got more significantly more weapon / turret pods, with battleships easily 20+ turrets of all sizes - but in general it means TONS of possible builds. There are ships ready to become missile barges, or glass cannons, or tanks, recons, etc.
- More ship variants, and ship re-balance: fighters-bombers, space uboots, space submarines, cruisers. Light/Heavy - no more 'better' variant - Light (low hull (¬ -25-40%), but better missile storage (+¬50%), very agile vs Heavy (very good hull resistance, slow, clumsy) - SEE DETAILS
- 'Turbo' enhancements - some special ships can mount oversize engines, or weapons - this works also for AI, so at last there are some ships, that with a good pilot can challenge a human player
- Enhancing scale - it is like multiplying X4 by 5 - in terms of how busy is galactic in Turbo Lanzer. There are HUNDREDS more of all sort of ships, individual smugglers, traders, as well as multi-ship huge assault fleets, defense fleets of last resort, defending core sectors (they are divided by factions, related to specific sub_mods, additional ships may be turned on/off for each faction
- Space Battles - bigger, deadlier and a lot more crowdy - and more often because for each prepared scenario (yes, there are also new game starts), factions have diplomacy rebalanced to ensure conflicts and tensions have place all time
- New paradigm, new galaxy - Turbo Lanzer world is based on different story, there are changes in names, new entries in Encyclopedia, etc. SEE DETAILS By the way, TL world is kind of Paradigm Worlds spin-off
- Simpler economy - Turbo Lanzer idea is to make warfare, piloting, military strategy a priority, and that means economy has to work faster and more fluent, to ensure that player and AI will be able to keep mass production, even in case or permanent state of war (which in vanilla may result in economy breakdown, slowing production, or even stopping). In other words: It is not a question can I afford to build this ship, now it is a question can I afford to build new fleet
- Gradual, Relative ships cost - in TL cost in resources and complexity of logistic line is related to ship size. You need just a few simple resources (and just a couple of factories, instead of whole production line like in vanilla) to build a simple small spacecraft, a bit more complex for medium size ships, and naturally a lot more effort is needed to build L size and even more to build XL size ships.
- Some QoL features already inside - expanded sat range, station modules have storage x5 - x50 (sic!), carry more people or other creatures (habitats up to 100000 creature capacity)

CURRENT VERSION: Alpha
Mod is totally playable. No serious bugs, but several things may work weird. Due to economy simplification creating ships in large quantities may be trivial for veterans, but idea of mod is also to make it more open for beginners. Also death rate, and fleet capability of all other factions are increased.

WARNING: For some people game may lack balance - this version's aim is to push certain game aspects to extreme, so it can be smoothed in next releases.
*next version (soon) 0.01 will add two new features:
- small size ships with mounted M turrets with working AI for turrets
- new stations for faction, (more shipyards, wharfs, trade stations, etc.)
- also new stations for factions who did not have own sectors like Buccaneers, all 'minor' factions like Alliance or Scale Plate (in Turbo Lanzer known as SIS Space Intelligence Service and Alien's Democratic Republic) have added stations all over space
