I have it properly installed, the items are showing in the trader menu, but all sale quantities are zero, and I have visited a dozen stations, half previously undiscovered. what am i doing wrong?
This really needs the ship mods being rebalanced. they are way too cheap in terms of the price of components. has any one got a balanced version i can use?
It doesn't by default, SWI overwrites the trader sell list.
You can make it work by forcing it to load *after* SWI, by adding a 'zz' to the front of the folder name. i.e. rename 'RareModpartsSold' to 'zzRareModpartsSold'.
This causes the 'add' logic in this mod to add the parts to the SWI trader sell list.
One of the best mods in my opinion. It just lets you play with modifications and have fun, instead of never using them to save them for the perfect ship.
I was hesitant to use this because it kind of ruins the progression of getting mods, but then I went on a deep expedition into Xenon space that took almost five hours and ended up with almost six thousand green mod materials and a fat z e r o blue or purple crafting materials. That kind of drop rate can f*#@ off. Endorsed.
I guess all the traders should have a ware respawn timer or something. Albeit, the game has been updated a lot since the release of the mod, so can't say for sure, don't play X4 now.
This mod does not appear to be working for me. I am on 3.3, and it does not show up under extensions. I do have other mods in place that are working fine, but even tried removing them and it still does not show up.
There is a person below, who claimed the opposite, saying that it works on 3.3 Sorry if it does not work for you, if there is more reports on it, I will try to investigate
it worked well with 3.30 and it still does so with 4.00. you might have it not correctly installed if you done so manually - use vortex if so or check if the correct structure is used (folder, name, etc... compare it with other mods in the extensions that work for you to get the feeling for it). also see that you didn't put it into the extension folder in your users document section but in the game subfolder - almost ever mod now goes there, the old problem with some UI-mods are mostly over too in this regard. lastly, check every other mod you use about them also changing the same thing - even if you had one such mod active before, look into the extension folder if it's still in there - if so, delete the folder out yourself or, use the purge function of vortex and then redeploy the mods, that should get rid of such zombies...

Edit: works fine had to reset trader inventory
Edit: teleporting out and in of the system...
Does game populate as time progresses?

Does it add a chance for SETA parts to appear (eg flux capacitor)?
