About this mod
Adds two beam weapons to the Terran faction. One is actually new, and the other is just new since VRO removes it. Nevertheless, both weapons are designed with the assumption that VRO is installed. Both require a "highpower" weapon slot.

New S weapon: the Ion Beam. I'm a big fan of beam weapons and didn't really like any of the S beams in VRO. It is rather powerful but not excessively, and it is most effective against shields.
The 'new' L turret is really just the TER L Beam that came with vanilla COH, balanced for VRO. I was sad to see that VRO removed it from the game, and although it is quite strong against smaller targets, its range is considerably shorter than other VRO turrets to make up for this. It is also mostly effective against shields, so combined with the fact that only the Asgard and Syn can even equip it, I feel it is quite well balanced.
