I was just wondering.... is it possible to make say, a blueprint only option for all your ship mods? So for example making it so you can't actually purchase it from an NPC shipyard, you have to purchase the blueprint and then build it at your own shipyard? I just think it'd be cool kinda rp'ing that the company / clan / whatever you're playing as actually designed and produced these and were the only ones who could produce them.
I never experimented with that. The Stardust definitely doesn't work like this. She must be usable by the Argon. No clue why, must be something in the game. But the others should be fine, if you do this: replace <owner faction="paranid" /> with <owner faction="player" /> in the wares.xml. This means, you can't build them, until you got your own shipyards / warfs. I like to cap a lot in the game, that's why I enjoy it, that the factions have the ship. Especially pirates like faf.
Nice, thanks I'll try that out - and I know what you mean for sure - the curb in my game are building Mirandas lol - it's good, I really prefer it that way... just more ships for me to add to my fleet with the pointof ;) I might try the editing the wares.xml on another playthrough later to see what its like.
Thank you very much for the update since I love your X4 mods but it seems your update for the Leopard is incomplete. When I open it, it only has an Assets folder and 2 folders within. One for Textures and another for Units. Nothing else. It also shows as being a 15MB download.
Hello everyone, I got the DLC Kingdom End on GOG and since then all ship mods seem to be "broken" you can not equip drives shields and turrets on the ships.
I am frustrated, and have no idea why this is so at the version of X4 Ver.5.1 worked with the mod's everything fine.
I love it, I actually took it into battle and made a mess out of xenon instead of trading :) It has 1000 drones capacity, and is faster than my scouts xD
Downloading now - I feel like endorsing it already because all your mods are awesome haha. It looks like you're going through the Split lineup, does that mean there's a chance of a Monitor destroyer one day?
