This does work with 6.0. Having said that, under Linux, you will most likely need to rename the weaponFx path extracted from this archive to weaponfx since the mod's effects won't be seen otherwise. Looks like this is a known issue since Rebirth. I also have this extracted directly under ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/X4 Foundations/extensions rather than under the ~/.config/EgoSoft/X4 path, but I didn't test in the latter after finally getting this working properly in the former location after fixing the directory name.

This is good for when the game decides to bug out and not use my battleship's 16 repair drones and the 167 elite crewmen arent REPAIRING THE G*D DAMNED ENGINES. This freaking broken buggy nightmare of a game. Its only playable because of modders like you. Cheers.
Hello iforgotmysocks, does this mod allows you to repair ship components directly (like if im sitting there waiting for a destroyer to repair I can help fix the engines for example). I remember seeing a mod that did it but not sure if its this one (it might be a rebirth mod come to think of it). Thanks for the mod in anycase!
Yes, you can hop out of your ship in ur spacesuit and go repair components like turrets and engines. However, when they're wrecked u'll have to wait until ur repair drones or service personel restore them to a functional state again, meaning 1 or more hp. Components will start to work again at around 25%hp, alto with lesser performance as they would with full hp.
