This is a script that was written originally by Sylvrwynd for X:R (https://github.com/Sylvrwynd/XRebirth_GM_ALL). Just for s**ts and giggles I decided to try it out in X4 pretty soon after the 1.0 launch. Naturally it didn't work, so I started trying to figure out why. Long story short, it was due to the version number, so after I changed it it actually started working! After putting in about 125 hours and getting worried about it disappearing from my HD, I decided to actually post it so other people can play with it. There doesn't appear to be any side-effects (or at least not ones I've seen). It may not effect satellites as I've seen them get destroyed, but that seems to be it.
All that needs doing is to plunk it in your /extensions folder. In the words of Todd Howard, "It just works!"
Naturally, if this goes against some kind of terms of service or whatnot I'll remove it, but it doesn't seem to be in violation of the posted license, so I think I'm good.
