About this mod
The goal of this mod is to provide high quality logos that are as canon as possible, each with a subtle weathered metal texture so that they look more 'believable' in the X4 universe.

DESCRIPTION
As simple as the feature is, being able to personalize your empire's fleet with your own logo is one of my favorite features of X4: Foundations.
The ship logos included in X4 are decent, but they're stark white and the selection is a bit limited. Other mods just didn't look right to me. So, I decided to create my own set of custom logos instead.
The initial release of the mod includes nearly 100 custom ship logos.
A faint metallic texture with a light weathering effect was added to make each logo look like it was painted onto spaceships that have been constantly traveling thousands of meters per second for weeks or even months. The logos blend in a little better with your ships, and look more natural in the game universe.
Think Amazon is taking over the world? Help them take over the universe instead. It's a pirate's life for you? There are logos for you too. Building a SpaceWeed empire? Go green or go home. Want to Make the Galaxy Great Again? This mod even has you guys covered. Hopefully there are enough choices to cover just about any gameplay style or empire type you're going for in X4.
This mod represents several weeks of work. Many of these logos were never vectorized and some are completely custom. As time allows, I will consider requests to be added to future versions of the mod, but only if high quality images can be sourced.

INSTRUCTIONS
- Copy the PNG files to the following directory:
For GOG players: "C:\Users\<Your PC Username>\Documents\Egosoft\X4\logos"
For Steam players: "C:\Users\<Your PC Username>\Documents\Egosoft\X4\<yourSteamUserId>\logos"
Note: The folder that appears as a string of numbers is created when you first save your game. If you don't have this folder, you'll need to save your game first.
If the 'logos' folder doesn't exist, just create one.
- Start the game and select Player Info --> Empire tab to choose your custom logo.

The logos and marks that appear in this mod are the property of their respective rights holders. They are provided here under fair use doctrine, for non-commercial entertainment purposes only, and only for use in EgoSoft's X4: Foundations game.
