Mich hat es schon immer gestört das Nividium nicht wirklich ein Produkt hat zu dem es verarbeitet werden kann, aus dem Grund hab ich mich mir dazu mal ein wenig Gedanken gemacht und eben diesen Mod umgesetzt.

Produktbeschreibungen

Nividiumplatten (Produkt)
Nividium wird in einer chemischen Synthese mit Methan zu einem extrem harten Metall gepresst welches über supraleitende Eigenschaften verfügt. Dies macht Nividiumplatten zu einem sehr hochwertigen und teuren Material.
Dennoch werden die Nividiumplatten mittlerweile im Schiffs- und Waffenbau eingesetzt wo es nicht nur Panzerungsverstärkung sondern aufgrund der Supraleitfähigkeit auch als Schildverstärkendes Bauteil eingesetzt werden kann.
Gerüchten zufolge soll zuletzt, vor der Neujustierung der Tore, ein boronischer Wissenschaftler ein Schiff gebaut haben dessen Außenhaut komplett aus Nividiumplatten besteht, die Schilde des Schiffes sind tief im Inneren verankert was ein ausschalten derer mit Waffen so gut wie unmöglich macht.

Nividiumpresse (Fabrikmodul)
In der Nividiumpresse wird unter großem Druck aus Methan und Nividium ein extrem hartes und supraleitfähiges Material gewonnen welches im Schiffs- und Waffenbau engesetzt wird.

Was macht der Mod

Dieser Mod fügt dem X-Universum das Produkt Nividiumplatten hinzu, welches in die vorhanden Schiffseinträge sowie für Waffenkomponenten hinzugefügt wird.Des weiteren wird ein neues Produktionsmodul hinzugefügt welches die Produktion eben dieser Nividiumplatten ermöglicht.Natürlich hat auch die KI die Möglichkeit bekommen Nividiumschmieden zu bauen und zu nutzen.
• Produktionsmodul sieht ähnlich aus wie die Metallveredelung, hat jedoch etwas andersfarbige Beleuchtung sowie blaue Flammen beim Schmelzvorgang
• Produktmodul Lizenz ist käuflich zu erwerben
• Enzyklopädie Einträge für Produkt und Modul vorhanden
• Produktbild sowie Modulbild vorhanden
• GOD-Engine von X4 erstellt bereits bei Spielstart (Neues Spiel erforderlich) Nividiumschmieden
• Waffenkomponenten benötigen jetzt zusätzlich Nividiumplatten
• Schiffe benötigen jetzt zusätzlich Nividiumplatten

Installation
Den im Archiv enthaltenen Ordner x4_nividiumplates in das X4 Foundation\extensions Verzeichnis deiner Spielinstallation (nicht Eigene Dokumente) entpacken, der Mod sollte InGame unter Erweiterungen sofort aktiv sein.

Deinstallation gestaltet sich schwierig da auch die KI Nividiumschmieden aufbaut, am besten vor der Installation ein Backup der Savegames anlegen.

Getestet habe ich diesen Mod unter der X4 Version 2.20 unter Windows 7.


Addon
Um die KI ein wenig zu pushen habe ich eine kleine Erweiterung in Form von zusätzlichen Jobs für Schürfen von Nividium und sammeln von Methan zusätzlich bereitgestellt.

Das Archiv x4_nividiumplates_jobs.7z entpacken und die ext_02.cat und ext_02.dat in den extensions\x4_nividiumplates Ordner verschieben/kopieren.

It has always bothered me that nividium does not really have a product to which it can be processed, so for that reason I've given myself a little thought and just implemented this mod.

Productdescriptions

Nividiumplates (product)
Nividium is pressed in a chemical synthesis with methane to an extremely hard metal which has superconducting properties. This makes nividiumplates a very high quality and expensive material.
Nevertheless, the nividiumplates are now used in ship- and weaponbuilding where it not only armor reinforcement but due to the superconductivity can also be used as shield-enhancing component.
According to rumors, before the readjustment of the gates, a Boron scientist is said to have built a ship whose outer skin is made entirely of nividiumplates, the ship's shields are anchored deep inside, making them virtually impossible to turn off with weapons.

Nividiumpress (factorymodule)
In the nividiumpress under pressure from methane and nividium an extremely hard and superconductive material is obtained which is used in ship- and weaponbuilding.

What does the mod

This mod adds the product nividiumplates to the X universe, which is added to the existing ship entries as well as for weapon components. Furthermore, a new production module is added which enables the production of these same nividiumplates. Of course, the AI has also got the opportunity to build nividiumforges to use.
• Production module looks similar to the refindemetal production, but has slightly different colored lighting and blue flames during the melting process
• Product module license is available for purchase
• Encyclopedia entries for product and module available
• Product picture as well as module picture available
• X4 GOD engine creates nividiumforges already at gamestart (New Game Required)
• Weapon components now also need nividiumplates

Installation
Unpack the folder x4_nividiumplates contained in the archive in the X4 Foundation\extensions directory of your game installation (not own documents), the mod should be active in InGame under extensions immediately.

Deinstallation is difficult because the AI builds nividiumforges too, it is best to create a backup of the savegames before the installation.

I tested this mod under the X4 version 2.20 under Windows 7.

Addon
To push the AI a little bit, I've provided a small extension in the form of additional jobs for prospecting Nividium and collecting methane.

Extract the archive x4_nividiumplates_jobs.7z and move the ext_02.cat and ext_02.dat into the extensions\x4_nividiumplates folder.
