About this mod

Enhanced version of Plutus Vanguard with improved weapons and shields.

Permissions and credits
Seeing the benefit of a multi-role craft and eyeing the Plutus Vanguard the Alliance, with guidance from other Paranid technicians, resolved to upgrade the Plutus Vanguard to an expanded multi-role craft.

Using advanced electronics and lighter yet stronger materials along with advanced cold expansion technology and micro-fusion welding they produced the Plutus Resolve. Besides the lavish and efficient interior modifications to crew quarters and other internal areas, external modifications were carried out as well.

Firstly, twin small shields were installed just aft of the cockpit between the turrets and engines for additional protection in that area.

Secondly and more importantly, since the Plutus Vanguard supported only one fixed weapon, pilots were still looking at changing crafts or weapons to complete all missions as well as being able to defend itself. Pilots felt that it needed at least one more additional laser. To allow the Plutus Resolve to be a truly multirole craft, the design team added two small standard hardpoints. Specifically, one was added for the mounting of an ion blaster for unlocking containers and the second was for mounting new small repair laser provided by independent design teams for fixing station leaks.

While only slightly faster and maneuverable than the Plutus Vanguard, the Plutus Resolve quickly became the preferred ship for traders, explorers and mission support pilots and can it can be found at your local Alliance wharf.

Please note: Although the Plutus Resolve is considered to primarily be a transporter, with the improvements on weapons and shields, it was decided that the Plutus Resolve will require an Alliance military license to purchase.
