Despite my immense love for the Alexei Zakharov's OST, after hundreds and hundreds of hours spent in X4 the soundtrack gets boring. So I decided to change that somewhat. I'm not a composer, but modern technology allowed me to get around that. A few months of hard, meticulous work allowed me to create 199 (yes I just liked the number) new compositions. The entire scope of music is covered: combat, all factions, unoccupied sectors. Each faction is now voiced in accordance with my own feelings caused by them. Mod doesnt replace original OST, simply adds tracks (combat music actually is replaced, but not in the Light version).

Important clarification: no intellectual property of Egosoft, Alexey Zakharov or any third party was used in the production process. The music was created with the help of “AI”.
The mod is currently available in two variants: General and Lite. Also contains Assets. All of this was done to facilitate the update process, if any happens. The light version does not contain the combat soundtrack, nor does it change MapDefaults (to prevent modified galaxy map conflicts), which I thought was necessary for sectors with Specificaly set soundracks. General version contains everything.
Setup: Download Assets Pack > Pick version you need: general or lite (if you have some conficts) > Extract to Extensions folder > Activate Assets and ONE OF MAIN mods.
