X4: Foundations

a short sit-rep of my current game:
with the Social Standings and Citizenship mod and the Reputations and Professions mod

i'm trying to establish myself in free split space. i'm in my 15th hour or so and didn' get cap ship licence until the 12th hour.
and then i got the surprise that split cap ships are at least 1.5x or 2x more than paranids, teladis and argons.
rattlesnakes are at least 20M!!! :D
so decided to focus on establishing supply chains for free split families for bigger cashflows.
xenon has already established 3 bases (and wiped out all but 3 factories) in one of the free split frontiers.

my social standing, reputation and citizenships with the other factions are too poor, and so i'm not allowed their cap ships.
free split starts the player as an enemy of zya. i lost quite a bit of money from zya attacks in my early and mid-early game.
and in this playthrough (from mid-dec) i decided to be an engineer - satellite, signal repairs, etc.
with RAP guild bonus, it's viable. my profession stats are: 97% engineer as 100% specialist, 1.7% courier, 1.08% sabotuer, 0.2% trader.
so it was quite a grind. :D

but i designed my mods for the long play. something that i can return to after weeks or months and find a new objective to play. e.g.: citizenship with another faction, for example.
