The Loot mining mod is two mods bundled into one:
Loot targeting AI

Loot targeting AI mod:
Tired of hunting down inventory loot by constantly looking at the map or by clicking multiple asteroids on the HUD?

With the Loot Targeting AI mod, you only need to target the collectible loot once either on the map (Hover on the loot, press the target key) or on the HUD (Click directly on a collectible asteroid) to let the targeting AI constantly target collectibles with the same loot for you.

Targeting a collectible loot activates the AI. When activated, it will create a mission and set collectibles with the same loot as its targets.

You won't need to check on the map or multiple asteroids again just to find the inventory loot you're after.

This targeting AI also works on cargo loot, by the way.

More efficient inventory loot mining
This mod is a little bit of a cheat. But it still requires you to hunt for inventory loot.

The More Efficient Inventory Loot Mining mod ensures that inventory loot will drop from every mined asteroid AFTER one has already dropped.

What this means is that once you've found an inventory loot, it will always drop from every asteroid that you mine.

For example, it may take you several asteroids to find spacefly eggs. But once you do, spacefly eggs will always drop from every asteroid that you mine.

Guesswork and wasted time are minimised while mining for inventory loot.

Caveats
These gameplay effects ... :

1. ... work only when you are mining. They do not work on NPC mining operations.

2. ... during a mining session. A mining session starts when you start mining and ends 5 minutes after your last mined asteroid.

3. ... do not work outside of mining. For example when unlocking lockboxes, or when NPCs jettison cargo.

Customisations
Either mod can be disabled in the Extensions Option available when SirNukes Mod Support APIs mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/x4foundations/mods/503) is installed.

The amount of inventory loot that More Efficient Inventory Loot Mining mod spawns can also be customised in the Extensions Option.

With these mods enabled, mining for loot is made more efficient by minimising guesswork and wasted time.

Simply put, these mods enhance the "quality-of-life" of miners.
