The main idea with this mod was to give us a version of Brant that reflects more with the traditional idea of a pirate captain. It's been since his first reveal I could have imagined a revamp of his original design with the main purpose of taming any excentric colors and eliminating a maximum of those "jester/farcial" features. But before anything, I think I wanted to materialize the true aura of a corsair rather than someone coming from a joyfull theater troupe.

I worked for quite a long time on this mod thanks to the quest we had in 2.1 first half. I originally had in my mind a ship captain with dark colors and a lot of leather parts, wearing that famous dirty victorian white shirt we always get to see in pirate movies. I also noticed Brant's vanilla outfit had a plethora of patterns, way more than any other previous character. So I carefully rubbed a couple of them off choosing those that could suggest a "buffoon" theme in priority. As for the secondary color, I finally landed on that slightly desaturated wine red/purple combo that goes perfectly with his new palette and hair color but also suggest a figure of authority (like a captain!). Finally the biggest part of the work was to restore and increase details complexity accross all leather pieces, darker parts, feathers, or other golden details. After a full week of sweat I can finally say I fulfilled my mission as this mod delivers this sober version of Brant that was so itching me back then.

• New realistic feather colors (non-dyed)
• Removal of jester patterns (squares on tricorn, diamonds on neck, diamonds on shoulder pads)
• Removal of 2 "modern signs" breaking immersion with pirate theme
• The fuschia pink sub color now moved into a new desaturated wine red
• Some reflective/metallic/gold surfaces improved
• Covering his signature weapon (affected by the same new color scheme)
