This special version of my Jiyan mod involves drastic texture files changes so it would be quite fastidious to include it in my previous toggleable mod version. Before anything, if you enjoy this you need to know that it's originally a commission I negociated for going public because of its unusual story. So you and I should thank the player "Kyro" for bringing it to my attention and motivating me into creating the mod.
 
     Recently a korean mod creator stole my Jiyan assets to create his own darkened version. then released it as a "oh I worked so much on this" work on a famous korean website so the rest of the world could not notice. I tried to bring somekind of justice over there but so far it seems admins are tough to reach or/and don't seem to have the same standards as Nexus or Gamebanana. But even if I manage to make the mod withdrawed, I would kind of feel bad for people enjoying a dark version of my work. Kyro wanted it so much he asked me to make my own dark version as personal commission to give this story an happy end.
 
     Of course creators will always allow you to make your own modifications for your personal use. But as soon as you release it and diffuse it somewhere without the original creator's consent, this is breaking the line. I can totally imagin it can spawn in some the joy of getting hands on a new mod but in truth it's a big mistake. Our websites know it well and that's why they are not joking with it. I'll explain why : it has been more than 20 years I am creating mods accross 20+ video games, by 4 times I was in serious mod guilds (Kenshi/Skyrim/Civilization) and during this time I have witnessed a good number of asset/art theft used for the creation of "rogue" mods. And if I can tell you something important that you must engrave in your mind, it's that a theft is the most frequent reason why a mod creator will "break" and decide to leave the modding scene. Whether it's just for quitting a game to go for another OR 100% quitting this hobby. I was robbed quite some times as well (more than 30 times at the very least), each time it was sickening. Seeing someone use your stuff without approval, jinxing it, and claiming credit for it with people hurray-ing "their" feat is an horrible show to look at and it makes you consider the reason why you are doing all this. There is that particular sentence I heard/read several times from robbed creators that still echoes in me sometimes "It makes you loose faith in people".

     So please, keep an eye open and be merciless with asset thieves. Never support them even if it seems a nice upgrade. It might look like it's worth on the moment but trust me it's really not.
